I personally road test each vehicle before it is offered for sale before it is offered for sale so I can give you my first hand opinion of how it runs and... drives. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic. Each vehicle is represented accurately and honestly to the best of my knowledge and ability. Please take the time to check out each of the 70+ photos and read this entire written description, as well as our Terms & Conditions, carefully BEFORE asking questions or placing a bid as most answers can be found in at least one of those places. An administrative fee of $149 will be added to the final bid of each auction. Up for a NO RESERVE auction is a 2004 Volvo S80. I would rate the exterior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. As with any older vehicle, please expect a few flaws and imperfections commensurate with the age and mileage. On this specific Volvo, there are some light scratches and a few small blemishes. The body lines are nice and straight. The hood, doors and trunk all open and close easily. All of the glass and lenses are intact. The factory alloy wheels show well and are wrapped in a set of tires with low tread all around. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. I would also rate the interior of this Volvo to be in AVERAGE CONDITION for the age and mileage. The door cards are clean and tight. The carpets are clean but the drivers side has a tear in it. The dash and headliner are clean. Both front seats are power operated and heated. The leather seats are soft and supple. They are bolstered and supportive, yet comfortable. The power windows, locks mirrors and sunroof all work properly. Aside from the drives window. It seems like a switch issue. The climate climate control system is fully automatic and appears to be working properly. The heater blows hot. It's been a little cold to tell whether or not the air conditioner works properly but I can hear the compressor kick on as needed with the climate control so it most likely works as it should. The audio system is original and works properly. The displays are easy to read, not all blanked out and pixelated. The trunk is spacious and clean, too. Please take your time to check out each of the photos carefully. Mechanically, this Volvo appears to be in good running and driving condition. The 2.9L twin turbo engine starts easily and runs smoothly. I haven't noticed any leaks and the engine dose not smoke. Her road manners are good. The suspension feels tight and well sorted. Steering and braking feel good, too. The engine keeps perfect temperature and feels strong. The turbos spool up quickly and make good power. I did get a check engine light during my road test for a random misfire (p0300). When I would come to a stop and a few lights I could feel a quick light misfire. I'm sure a fresh set of plugs would clear it up. I didn't feel anything while driving the car and it has plenty of power. The automatic transmission engages smoothly and shifts properly with no issues. Out on the highway, she drives nice and straight with absolutely no complaints.
